The University of Minnesota is seeking an excellent, academically oriented Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join the Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of the University's heart failure, mechanical support, transplant and pulmonary hypertension programs in the Clinician-Scholar track (80% clinical and 20% academic). Preference will be given to applicants with experience but new fellowship graduates are welcome to apply. The University of Minnesota has an unprecedented history as a leader in innovation and transformational initiatives. Our institution’s mechanical support program is the largest in the region- currently implanting 50-60 VADS per year and we perform approximately 25-30 transplants per year. The University of Minnesota has a dynamic faculty and experienced administrative leadership team to support the career goals of every new member joining us. We also have an established Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Fellowship Program in addition to general cardiology and other subspecialty cardiology fellowship programs. We offer an excellent compensation and comprehensive benefit package.

Qualifications include: Fellowship training in Advanced Heart Failure and board eligible/board certified. Must have, or the ability to obtain, licensure by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice.
