250K-275K Base-7 weeks off-Excellent Health System-Kentucky

This 465-bed regional referral center in North Eastern Kentucky is seeking a board eligible/certified adult psychiatrist. to provide inpatient care in our Behavioral Medicine unit. We will employ the incoming physician, who will earn competitive compensation ($250-275K+ annually via WRVU productivity) and excellent benefits (health, vision, dental, life, retirement), along with six weeks of vacation and an additional week for CME. The practitioner will provide care and evaluations for psychiatric unit patients and in-house consults. As well as coordinate medication management. Our 18-bed Behavioral Medicine unit specializes in stabilization of acute episodes. Patients attend daily individual and/or group therapy sessions. We work with patients and their loved ones, along with other healthcare professionals to develop an appropriate course of treatment. Our goal is to enable patients to return home and resume their lives as quickly as possible. Discharge planners and case managers help coordinate care following hospitalization.
