Family Medicine Residency Program
Assistant Director or Core Faculty Position $240,000 Salary / $300,000 potential
Southern University affiliated- Family Medicine Residency Program Assistant Director Position requires 3-5 years of faculty experience. Core Faculty must have a passion for teaching no prior experience required. All should possess strong leadership abilities and be able to assess and build on the program by infusing new ideas and energy!
  • 4.5 day work week consists of: 3 ½ days of Clinic, 1 ½ day of Admin time, the reset of the time is spent mentoring/working with residents.
  • Growing Program with mentorship by tenured professor. Superior physicians are produced in this state-of-art facility which is newly designed.
  • Passion for teaching and serving the community.
  • Superior community and hospital support of 270 physicians and subspecialists.
Base salary of $240,000 with a significant signing bonus, paid call, RVU incentives and more. Call is mainly handled by the Hospitalist program and residents. Faculty has computer and phone tethering at best. Paid malpractice, benefits, retirement, relocation, and CME . Superior Southern Community comfortably situated near the Gulf Coast with access to several Major Metro Communities. A great place to live and raise a family, with all the necessities close at hand.
