Opportunity for a Physician to join our Hospital Medicine team full-time at Newport Medical Center in Newport, Tennessee. This 47-bed hospital supports an established hospital medicine program staffed with a physician group that sees an average of 15 encounters per physician per day. Hospitalists round on regular floors and ICU, including ventilator patients and codes; no procedures are required. Physician coverage is provided in-house from 7am to 7pm with night on-call coverage from 7pm to 7am. APC coverage is provided from 7am to 7pm. Requirements include: board certified or eligible in internal medicine or family medicine with hospital medicine experience and an active Tennessee medical license. TeamHealth offers excellent hourly and night on-call rates and quarterly RVU incentive and quality bonuses.
