Established in 1904, Henan Provincial People’s Hospital is situated in the center of Zhengzhou and also Teaching Hospital of Zhengzhou University. One of the largest comprehensive hospitals in Henan Province, Henan Provincial People’s Hospital has strong clinical and academic strength and advanced medical and experimental equipment. To adapt to the rapid development of the hospital and reinforce discipline construction, we are recruiting Director of Operation for Hospital’s Research Institutes, Principal Investigator, Senior Scientific Research Personnel, English Academic Journal Editor and Clinical Technology Team from home and abroad.

Qualifications:

1. Director of Operation for Research Institutes:

Required Specialties for Director of Operation of Research Institutes:

Cardiovascular Diseases, Cerebrovascular Diseases, Endocrinology, Hypertension, Infectious Diseases, Medical Genetics, Medical Imaging & Nuclear Medicine, Ophthalmology and Reproductive Medicine

One vacancy for each required specialty, applicants can be no more than 55 years old and meet at least one of the following qualifications:

1. Associate Professor, Associate Research Fellow or above in overseas prestigious universities or research institutes, international advanced expert, scholar or academic leader with doctoral degrees.
2.  “National 1000-Talent Plan”, “100-Talent Plan” (Chinese Academy of Sciences) experts, "Cheung Kong Scholars Programme" (Ministry of Education) distinguished experts, National "973" Project Chief Scientist, National Outstanding Youth Fund winner.
3. Undertake 2 or more national key scientific research projects.
4. Exceptional track record of research in related discipline(first author or corresponding author of academic papers in top life science journals such as Cell, Nature, Science or their subordinate academic serials/top medical journals such as New England Journal of Medicine, LANCET, JAMA etc.)
5. Exceptional track record of research in related discipline within the last five years, (>5 first author or corresponding author academic papers in influential journals of specialized areas (JCR Q1), author of influential scientific papers (single Impact Factor>10.0, or cumulative Impact Factor>50.0)); State Science and Technology Prize laureates(ranking top 3); key actors for technology transfer and innovation.

2. Principal Investigator and Senior Scientific Research Personnel:

Vacancies unlimited, research area unspecified, doctorate; under 55 years old, Associate Professor or above in international prestigious universities or research institutes; exceptional track record of research in related specialty within the last five years(>5 first author or corresponding author(first corresponding author) academic papers in influential journals of specialized areas (JCR Q1), author of influential scientific papers (single Impact Factor>10.0, or cumulative Impact Factor>50.0)). We give preference to tenure-track faculty in international renowned universities or research institutes.

3. English Academic Journal Editor:

Vacancies unlimited, part-time; Published more than 20 SCI academic papers or with more than 1-year working experience in editing SCI Journals

4. Clinical Technology Team:

Vacancies unlimited; with international technical and academic influence, mastering  technologies that fill the gap in China or international representative technology; conforming to national protocols on clinical admission of limitative medical technologies; 1 team leader and 2-3 core members.

Full-time staffs will sign a 3-year contract to work full-time; flexible introduced staffs need to sign a successive 3-year contract for working no less than 3 months each year in our hospital and confirm the intellectual property ownership of work products during the contract period belong to our hospital.

Remuneration:

1. Director of Operation for Research Institutes:

Annual salary 800,000~1,200,000 RMB for full-time Director of Operation for Research Institute, and 200,000~600,000 RMB per year for Director of Operation that have to work part-time. We provide housing/housing allowance. Team members of Director of Operation may enjoy the same remuneration as same level official staff if not higher. Office and laboratory space are guaranteed. Start-up funds and scientific secretary provided. The Scientific Research team can be built as needed; special requests can be negotiable, please consult in person.

2. Principal Investigator and Senior Scientific Research Personnel:

Up to 300,000 RMB per year for full-time Principal Investigator and Senior Scientific Research Personnel, plus housing and assistant for your spouse in search of  employment and children’s education and bonus by scientific incentive policy in our hospital. 150,000 RMB per year and bonus by scientific incentive policy for other flexible introduced staffs.

3. English Academic Journal Editor:

Negotiable, please consult in person.

4. Clinical Technology Team:

Up to 400,000 RMB per year for full-time Clinical Technology Team leader, plus housing and assistant for your spouse in search of  employment and children’s education plus bonus by scientific incentive policy in our hospital. Part-time Clinical Technology Team leader may enjoy higher standard allowances than present full-time job income within the same time span. Exceptional talents may enjoy the same remuneration as Director of Operation for Research Institutes. Influential team leader in need of a studio will have a studio after his/her own name. Family vacation in China each year.
