Seeking exceptionally qualified candidates to become a member of the dedicated hospitalist team. Join a regionally renowned LTAC specializing in the treatment of patients with chronic, critical and complex medical conditions. Benefit from employment with a physician-led and focused organization recognized as a leader in inpatient medicine with the ability to offer substantial program support and infrastructure. Program Overview/Job Description:
  • Competitive base salary in excess of $200K with RVU bonus earning potential
  • Robust benefits package to include medical, dental, 401(k), malpractice and CME allowance
  • 7on/7off block schedule, 12 hour shifts
  • 15 shifts per month
  • 4 physicians working in house 7a-7p
  • Midlevel support
  • Dedicated Nocturnists on Hospitalist team minimizing night shift requirement
  • Robust subspecialty support available to Hospitalist team to include Pulmonary, Intensivist, Neurology, Rehab Medicine, Surgery
  • Meditech EMR
  • Procedures not required however comfort level with central lines and intubation ideal –will train physicians on procedures
  • Located only 30 minutes from Hartford and 90 miles from NYC
  • Access to learning platform for continuing education and professional career development with convenient on-line and in-person educational courses, including CME
Minimum Qualifications:
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family medicine.
  • Critical Care, Pulmonary Critical Care, Geriatric, Nephrology and Infectious Disease boarded physicians or Fellows encouraged to apply
  • No visa sponsorship available
  • ACLS Certification
