Cheshire Medical Center/Dartmouth-Hitchcock Keene and Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry are seeking a dynamic Adult Psychiatrist/Medical Director for an inpatient psychiatric unit within a Dartmouth affiliated community hospital in Keene, NH. The candidate will provide evidence-based, inpatient care on a 12-bed, short-term, acute care adult unit. This position provides a leadership opportunity for someone desiring to lead innovative population health care models encompassing value-based care as well as integrated and collaborative care with Family Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and closely aligned local mental health and home health community partners. This is an opportunity to lead an experienced interdisciplinary team offering patient-centric, high value care. Teaching opportunities are also available.

This is a great opportunity for Early and Mid-career candidates who are Board Certified in Psychiatry. We offer a guaranteed salary, Medical Director stipend, and academic rank that is commensurate with experience. This position also shares a reasonable call schedule with local physicians.
